APPLICATION FOR ACCOMMODATION

We are located at the end of 5th street in Peachland.

Our accommodations are for independent living seniors only.

We ARE NOT a government subsidized housing complex.

 

All apartments are one-bedroom, and include cable, heat, air, and lights and free laundry facilities in the common room.  The tenant is responsible for phone connection.

 

The apartments and property are designated Non-Smoking.  You must be a non-smoker to qualify for accommodation.

You are allowed one small cat or dog. Not more than 30 pounds or 18 inches in height

 

Purpose of this Form

This application form is designed to collect specific information from applicants seeking independents living housing

 

WAIT LIST PROCEDURES:

§          Each size of apartment has their individual wait list

A person can choose to put their name on all 3-wait lists if they are willing to take the first opening that becomes available to them.

They can also choose to leave their name on the wait list for a different sized unit if they ideally want something different, but choose to take whatever is available at the time.

For example: If the bachelor suite becomes available but you would prefer the large unit, you could move into the bachelor but still keep your name on the wait list for the large one. 

Living in the bachelor unit does NOT give you preference to the other units.  You must still stay on the wait list in the order when you first applied and will be given opportunity to move based on where your name is on that list.

 

Who Qualifies

Independent Non-Smoking Seniors (55 years of age or older) who can live independently and care for themselves.

 

How to Apply

Apply directly to the society who manages the building.
